Extracting routing table from an existing file

Postby fareed » Tue Apr 14, 2015 1:23 pm

Hi
Is there a way to easily extract the routing table (which sub-catchment flows into which) if all I have is the project file?

I exported to XML, which holds that information, but I would need a way to parse out the important information.

I also tried exporting the network in tt2 format, which gets me some of the way there, but not all fields were clear as to their meaning.

Any other ways?

Thanks

Hi Fareed,
Sadly, there actually isn't a way in Source to access this information from the GUI or recorder side. One option would be to write a plugin - maybe you'd like to give it a go?

Thanks Juanita. we got around it this time by doing it manually. But a plug-in might be worth a try. I'll see how I go for time!
